HLB Asia Pacific & Eurasia Regional Conference 2023 was held in Phuket, Thailand from June 21 to 25, and our representative and staff attended the conference.

Three members of our corporation, including myself, participated in the conference. It was the first conference in a long time that was held face-to-face as it had been held over the online past three years due to COVID-19 disaster. The main purpose of the Regional Conference is to penetrate HLB's strategy and strengthen regional business collaboration. In this year, the main themes were sustainability, AI and cloud technology. As a poor English speaker, I always had to communicate in poor English with the help of other participants under the pressure during the conference. Meanwhile, I had to manage to keep the schedule up with the warmth of HLB and the hospitality of the host office. Because of this, we had not been able to discuss complicated issues such as business collaboration. However, regarding support to participated two staff members of fluent English speaker, I believe we were able to fully accomplish our original purpose of participating in the conference in this time.
I felt that Meisei would be taking this opportunity to move to a higher stage by making the most of its overseas network.
