HLB Advisory - Tax - Audit Conference was held in Madrid, Spain from July 5 to 8, and our representative and staff attended the conference.

The topics which I attended included the global economic situation such as cross-border M&A, sustainable growth and social transformation, trends in standards revision, cybersecurity, AI in accounting, and introduction of various tools and strategies.
The first conference held after the COVID-19 disaster, but each time the content was substantial and very fruitful. Especially, the presentation included an auditing tool that is highly compatible with the auditing tools being developed our corporation and will promote dramatic efficiency gains.

We are planning to begin testing it promptly after our return to Japan in order to introduce it.
Again, I was immersed in the feeling of being truly grateful to the sociable staff who accompanied me and helped me connect with many pipelines.... I myself will need to put more effort into learning the language and improving my communication skills from now on.
