Former Metropolitan Police Department Superintendent / Digital Forensic Analyst / Senior Researcher, Event Research Institute


Joined the Metropolitan Police Department after graduating from high school. During his tenure, he enrolled in the correspondence course at Chuo University's Faculty of Law and graduated in four and a half years.
He is in charge of VIP protection (SP), economic crime investigation, and cyber crime investigation.
He will receive top-level training as the first student of the ``Information Security Advisor Special Course'' sponsored by the National Police Agency.
He was dispatched as the only police officer among a group of expert technicians from police forces all over the country.
In this training, he performed many exercises on cracking major OSes and defending against them.

・Kakaku.com incident
・Unauthorized access incident by a career engineer at the National Police Agency
・Yahoo! Auction fraud arrested (first in the nation)
・Case of violation of the Unfair Competition Prevention Act (triggering the revision of the law on disclosure of trade secrets)
・Clearance of false accusations made on police website
・Responsible for investigative guidance for police stations
・Wrote commentary on the Unauthorized Access Prohibition Act (as an internal document of the Metropolitan Police Department)
・6th place in the 1st Cyber Security Open Cup Competition sponsored by the Metropolitan Police Department
・After retiring from the Metropolitan Police Department in 2020, he took SANS' FOR508 to brush up on his digital forensics technology.

In addition to investigating cybercrime, he opened and operated the Metropolitan Police Department's first Twitter account.
The operation method attracted attention and received numerous media interviews.
Published a paper on Twitter operation. He has also published books.
